TV With My Mom

Okay viewers, not only is this the first episode in a long time, but it also was recorded weeks ago. I lost the hard drive for a bit that had our intro/outro music and we all know it wouldn't be an episode without the music of John Dodson backing us up. Enjoy this catch up episode! Happy 2022!

This week mom and I spend a while talking about all the recent TV News and then we dive deep on Wandavision. Don't listen if you don't want spoilers, do listen if you watched the first episode or two and then gave up because you were so confused. We are back! Masked up and recording (sporadically) again. This week Mom and I talk about the new Shondaland show, Bridgerton, starring Regé-Jean Page, whose name I mispronounced because I was too confident I knew what I was talking about. It's a great show! This time around, Mom tells me all about how she has had a change of heart re: her opinion about Hilary Swank and how much she enjoyed Netflix's Away. Mom and I chat about the differences between the first two seasons of this show about time traveling superheroes and what we liked. This week, Mom and I discuss a show that is totally outside of my wheelhouse, but that I somehow still enjoyed, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. Mom didn't love it. She can't get past the science behind how someone can read people's minds through song, and I can't stop smiling while watching it. Check it out on Hulu. And yeah, I googled it and Chinatown does take place in the 1930's, get off my case. Enjoy!
